Wherever you are travelling to or from, you must wear a face mask at the airport and for the duration of your flight with Etihad unless you are exempt. Etihad recommends that passengers leave their face masks on until they reach their final destination, as it may be the law to do so. Please see the Etihad Airways website for further guidance on exemptions.
All Etihad aircrafts are deep-cleaned and sanitised on arrival at each destination. This includes disinfecting toilets, seats, tray tables, arm rests and seatbelts, and all blankets and pillows are removed and replaced with freshly laundered items. All of their service equipment is deep cleaned, and used equipment is stored separately during the flight. Etihad Airways also uses HEPA air filters on board to capture 99% of airborne microbes, and their airflow systems mean that air is refreshed on board on average 30 times every hour.
As of 4am Monday 4 October 2021, the rules for international travel to England now depend on your vaccination status. Please note, all travellers must complete a passenger locator form prior to boarding regardless of vaccination status.

Entry requirements differ from country to country and may be subject to change with very little notice so we advise that you check the Etihad Airways and government website regularly before you travel.
We recommend using our Home Delivery Travel Planner to confirm that the lead times for your chosen test are in line with the country you are travelling to. This will ensure you have allowed enough time to test and receive your results within the required timeframe before your departure.
Each passenger is responsible for checking and conforming with the entry and exit requirements at their arrival and return destinations. Please be aware that if you fail to comply with these requirements you may not be able to travel with Etihad Airways or be allowed to enter your destination.
