Last updated 4 October 2021

The Spanish government requires all arrivals (excluding those under 12) to Spain from the UK to present on entry a pre-travel declaration form and one of the following: a negative Covid-19 PCR, TMA, LAMP or NEAR test; or proof of being fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to travel in Spain.

For travellers from the UK, an NHS appointment card from vaccination centres is not designed to be used as proof of vaccination and should not be used to demonstrate your vaccine status.

Certificates of recovery - a medical document certifying that you have recovered from Covid-19 in the last 6 months prior to travel - are not currently accepted for arrivals from the UK.

From 4am on Monday 4 October 2021, the rules for international travel to England have changed from the red, amber, green traffic light system to a single red list of countries and simplified travel measures for arrivals from the rest of the world. The rules for travel from countries and territories not on the red list will depend on your vaccination status. Fully vaccinated travellers can book a day 2 test with free delivery. Not fully vaccinated or unvaccinated travellers can book their return antigen tests and day 2 and 8 travel packages with Medicspot. Further details can be found on our Covid test page.
