Our health information is written in clear, easy-to-understand language for the general public and patients.

This information is authored and reviewed by our team of doctors, covering a comprehensive range of medical conditions which is being frequently expanded.

Multimedia (video and audio) content produced by Medicspot follows similar procedures with all medical content being approved by a doctor to ensure accuracy.

Content creation process

  1. Check for updates. Our doctors follow the major guideline producers including NICE and SIGN, receives email updates regarding medicines and UK government health policy and keeps track of all the major journals, UK Royal Colleges and European Associations to keep abreast of new clinical developments. Review dates. All of our health information pages are routinely reviewed every three years. In the event of major or multiple changes, a prompt review will be arranged.
  2. Our health information pages are authored by a medical professional before being reviewed and edited by another medical professional, taking into consideration accuracy, balance, accessibility and tone. The content is then proofread by a designated member of staff for spelling, consistency of terminology, typographic or grammatical errors, and overall presentation; before a final sign-off by the author.
  3. Feedback. We encourage user feedback and all constructive feedback is considered and investigated. If necessary, as a result of feedback, we will review and revise our content as soon as possible.
