The original Online GP Service

Medicspot Ltd is a UK telemedicine company offering online GP consultations, prescriptions, health tests, covid tests and other medical services such as sick notes, medical scans such as MRI, and referral to private hospital care.

Our experienced online doctors can help with most common symptoms and medical issues just like an NHS GP: coughs, colds and flu; chest infections, ear infections, and UTI‘s; headaches and migraines; erectile dysfunction (ED); mental health issues like stress, anxiety and depression; joint and back pain; asthma, respiratory issues and allergies including Hay Fever; skin issues like eczema and acne; eye problems like conjunctivitis.

Dr Zubair Ahmed founded Medicspot Ltd in 2016. Medicspot Ltd was one of the first Online Doctor companies and developed a proprietary eHealth medtech system called Arc Health to facilitate virtual doctor consultations.

In Spring 2020 Covid-19 meant many GP consultations had to move online. Dr Zubair Ahmed co-authored a handbook with Dr Adam Abbs for GP colleagues who were new to telehealth: ‘Handbook for Remote Consultations: A guide to telemedicine’ to help them adapt to online consultations. The Handbook for Remote Consultations gained accreditation from the Royal College of General Practice (RCGP) and proceeds of sales were donated to Medecins sans Frontieres.

Medicspot Ltd has completed over 84,000 online GP consultations, and is rated Excellent by patients on Trustpilot.
