Weight loss money back guarantee

Last updated: 10.10.25

Medicspot offers a results-based refund policy for its medicated and non-medicated weight loss programmes.

If you have taken part in a qualifying programme for twelve months and have not achieved at least a 5% reduction in your initial body weight, you may be eligible for a partial refund, provided you meet the Terms and Conditions below.

This policy recognises sustained engagement and adherence – it is not a guarantee of medical outcome. Individual results vary depending on behaviour, lifestyle, and biology.

How refunds are calculated

Refunds are pro-rated to reflect any shortfall from the 5% weight loss goal. For example, if you lose 4% of your starting weight after 12 months, you would be eligible for a 20% refund.

Refunds are calculated on the total amount you have paid to Medicspot for your weight loss programme over the 12-month period, including any prescribed medication and applicable delivery charges, but excluding any promotional discounts or referral credits.

Refunds are paid directly by Medicspot only; neither prescribers nor dispensing pharmacies are responsible for refund administration.

Refund amounts are capped at the total paid to Medicspot during the relevant 12-month period and do not include any interest or consequential losses.

Eligibility requirements

To claim for a refund, you must:

  • Have begun your programme while we were offering the money back guarantee
  • Complete at least 23 of your scheduled weekly weigh-ins in accordance with your plan (for medicated programmes).
  • Engage consistently for 365 days, following your treatment plan and clinician instructions.
  • Where you have been prescribed weight loss medication, have been on the sustain dosage for your treatment for a period of at least the final 5 months of the 12 month period – 2.4mg dosage for Wegovy, 15mg dosage for Mounjaro
  • Not have taken any prescription weight loss medication in the 12 months before starting.
  • Lose less than 5% of your initial body weight after twelve months – defined as the difference between your initial body weight on Day 1 of the programme and your body weight at your first weigh-in check on or after Day 365 (and before Day 379) of the programme.
  • Submit your claim within 14 days of completing your 365-day programme.

These requirements exist to ensure accurate, fair assessment of your progress. We may request supporting data from your weigh-ins or account logs to verify eligibility.

Claims will not be valid where material information has been falsified or omitted.

Clinical decisions, including dose adjustments or treatment pauses, are made by the prescribing clinician and are not influenced by refund eligibility.

Programme updates and withdrawal

Medicspot reserves the right to amend or withdraw this policy for new participants at any time. Any withdrawal or amendment will not affect customers who joined the programme while the policy was active; the version applicable on your start date will continue to apply for 12 months. If you joined the programme while this policy was active, you will remain eligible under the version in effect on your start date.

Any updates to this policy will be published with the date of change, and material updates will be clearly communicated to active participants by email.
