The UK entered Cyprus’ Red category on 8 July. Travellers with proof of two Covid-19 vaccinations are not required to take a PCR test before departure or on arrival. However, all permitted travellers will still need to obtain a Cyprus Flight Pass.
Passengers arriving from Red Category countries without proof of two Covid-19 vaccinations must undergo a PCR test within 72 hours prior to departure and provide proof of a negative result. Please visit the government website for additional guidance.
From 4am on Monday 4 October 2021, the rules for international travel to England have changed from the red, amber, green traffic light system to a single red list of countries and simplified travel measures for arrivals from the rest of the world. The rules for travel from countries and territories not on the red list will depend on your vaccination status. Fully vaccinated travellers can book a day 2 test with free delivery. If travelling from the UK to Cyprus you must undertake a negative Covid-19 PCR test within 72 hours of travelling. This negative test result will then need to be uploaded to your Cyprus Flight Pass within 24 hours of departure.
Yes. The Republic of Cyprus Ministry of Health requires travellers to provide proof of residence or proof of Cypriot nationalist in order to enter Cyprus from the UK. Travellers to Cyprus must also complete a Cyprus Flight Pass before travelling.

No, children under the age of 12 do not need to take a Covid-19 test in order to travel from the UK to Cyprus.
Yes. All arrivals into Cyprus from the UK are required to undergo a mandatory quarantine of at least 7 days. On day 7, arrivals are required to take a further Covid-19 PCR test. If the result is negative and no symptoms occur, self-isolation ends after a further 3 days.
As of July 2021, Cyprus does not allow proof of recovery certificates for travellers arriving from the UK to enter the country. See the government website for additional information.
