New UK Covid Travel Test Rules Announced - February 2022
The UK government has announced new Covid-19 Travel Testing requirements for international travellers entering the UK, which will come into effect at 0400h on Friday 11th February 2022.
From 4am on 11th February 2022:
- If you are fully vaccinated (two doses) you will no longer need to take a Day 2 Test after arriving in the UK
- If you are not fully vaccinated you will no longer have to isolate on arrival, nor take a Day 8 Test. Unvaccinated or partially travellers to the UK will still have to take a pre-travel test within the last 2 days before they travel, and a Day 2 PCR Test after arrival in the UK.
- All UK arrivals will still need to complete a Passenger Locator Form.
Our Day 2 Tests are non-refundable but they are universal, so they can be used for any combination of travel testing requirements. For example, a Day 2 Lateral Flow Test can also be used as a Fit to Fly Lateral Flow Test or a Pre-departure test for Entry to the UK (only required for those who are not fully vaccinated).
Furthermore our tests are also suitable for non-travel purposes with Certification included (such as for attending events), as well as your general testing needs – such as testing before social occasions or visiting vulnerable friends and relatives. The tests themselves also have a long shelf life, so even if you don’t have a use for them right now you can use them in the future.
All tests are covered by our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.
