Do you have concerns about your child potentially having Autism Spectrum Disorder, ASD? Medicspot is here to help, in partnership with the Private Therapy Clinic. We can provide patients with a full ASD assessment delivered by either a HCPC Psychologist or a BSP Neuropsychologist, including ADI-R and ADOS2 assessment tools, and a full report.
What is ASD?
Autism Spectrum Disorder, also known as ASD and often referred to as Autism, affects the way a person communicates and how they experience the world around them. It is considered a spectrum condition. While autistic people share some similar characteristics, they are also all different from each other. The autism spectrum isn't linear from high to low but varies, just as one person might vary from another. Some autistic people are able to live relatively independent lives but others may face additional challenges. Some autistic people have learning disabilities, which means their support needs are different.

Our partner The Private Therapy Clinic, have a wide range of professionals including HCPC registered clinical and counselling psychologists, BABCP accredited cognitive behavioural therapists, and psychiatrists who will help you understand your areas of difficulty. Our therapists offer effective approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitisation reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy to help you reach your treatment goals. We also have a range of private psychiatrists who can discuss medication with you if appropriate.
Online or in Person
Many types of appointment and assessments can be completed both in person in London, or via online video conference, giving you the choice of what works best for you as a patient.
Same day and Evening appointments available
With the Private Therapy clinic offering same day and evening appointments, 7 days a week, you can access the therapies and treatments you need at a time that suits you
